What I do when I’m not working:

Spend time with my wife and our 5 year old son and his new baby brother (born 12/19/2019). As a family we hike, bike, play at the beach, and get outdoors as much as possible. On weekends or evenings after work, you can often find me trail running in the forests of UCSC, Henry Cowell or Wilder Ranch. However, cycling is my favorite activity, and aside from commuting to work most days on my bike, on weekends I ride my bike whenever I can free up an hour or two, or 7…the longer the ride, the better.

Why Santa Cruz:

As a Santa Cruz native, there are few better places on earth: the trees, the miles of mountain trails to run, bike or hike, warm afternoons, lots of interesting people, the beaches, and the electric smell of the coastal fog in the morning.
